How Organization Discounts Work

Each organization has a discount_percent field (0-100%). When a member of the organization makes a purchase, this discount is automatically applied to the total.

Example

  • Course price: ₹5,000
  • Organization discount: 30%
  • Member pays: ₹3,500

Setting Up Bulk Pricing

  1. Go to Admin → Organizations → [Org] → Edit
  2. Set the Discount % field
  3. Save
All members of the organization will automatically receive this discount on every purchase.

Combined with Other Pricing

Organization discounts can combine with:
  • Geo-based pricing — Regional price is calculated first, then the org discount is applied
  • Coupons — Coupon discounts may stack (depending on configuration)

Institutional Sales Workflow

  1. Create the organization with desired discount
  2. Add member accounts
  3. Members browse and purchase courses at the discounted rate
  4. Track enrollments and progress via the organization dashboard
